In-School Program Offerings (Sept to June)
"ZIPPITY-ZOO PROGAMS"
*Only offered within 60 minutes of 03867
An affordable offering designed exclusively for the young learner. This program is offered exclusively to daycare and pre-school aged programs and service providers.
The little ones of course are curious, but short attention spans – so this program features 4 very safe ambassador animals for an approximately 30 minute visit.
Offered as single visits or monthly-visit contracts.

SINGLE CLASS RATES FOR 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR ARE AS FOLLOWS PER TEACHING HOUR:
99 Students or less (class / grade lesson) : $395 + travel
100-175 Students (grade / small assembly) $450 + travel
More then 176 students (large grade - assembly) $650 + travel *
*Director Special Approval Required
Discounted Multi - lesson visits are offered!
For those sites with large student populations or those wishing to maximize the learning impact by having us share with smaller groups.
First lesson at normal rate - Additional lessons discounted 15% up to a maximum of 3 lessons.
FULL DAY TEACHING CONTRACT
Start to end of school day! Customized lessons for each grade / group!
Structuring 4 - 6 presentations to best meet the needs of the school.
*Certain animals may not be eligible, or may be limited to the number of presentations based on their individual welfare needs.
- Schools up to 2.5 hours from 03867: $1680 + travel
- Schools beyond 2.5 hours from 03867: $2000 + travel
"EXTENDED DAY LEARNING PROGRAMS"
Engaging activities after the end of the school day are vitally important for many of our communities’ hardest working families and their kids!
After school program coordinators can bring Wildlife Encounters EDL program series affordably into their their program’s 4, 6 or 8 week schedules!
Of course others have the option of just hiring a single EDL visit.
*In series contracts we strive to present different animals at each session to provide students the broader biodiversity exposure possible!

"TINY CREATURES" ENCOUNTER
The perfect basic and affordable program for smaller groups, younger audiences, limited budgets, or those that want to be as “hands-on” as possible!! (at the Educator’s discretion)

A variety of small, safe, and amazing Ambassador Animals.
- 6 animals under 3 lbs.
- Groups up to 50 kids/people
- Presentation time is approximately 45 minutes.
- We select the exact animals that attend, and do all we can to accommodate your preferences and requests!

"COLD BLOODED CREATURES" ENCOUNTER
Lizards, frogs and bugs, OH MY! Tell the birds and mammals to stay home and chill!
- 6 animals under 10 lbs.

"JUNIOR ZOOKEEPER" ENCOUNTER
THIS HAS BEEN OUR MOST POPULAR PROGRAM FOR OVER 20 YEARS!
The perfect choice for almost any event or gathering, from a family presentation at a resort or campground, to a summer camp, library presentation Blue & Gold ceremony, holiday event or birthday party!
The weight restrictions are lifted, so our larger Outreach Ambassadors are able to visit you as well, but note more space may be required.
At your request, we will be happy to customize this presentation to an event theme and select animals accordingly.
- We select the exact 7 animals that attend, and do all we can to accommodate your preferences and requests!
- Presentation time is approximately 60 minutes
- Limit 2 regulated species

PROGRAM RATE

"GLOBAL TOUR" ENCOUNTER
Our educator will lead the group on an “imaginary safari around the world!” Meet animals whose ancestors lived in a variety of habitats and places on Earth, while discovering their amazing adaptations, learning their eco-contributions and learning their personal stories.
Seven (7) globally and biologically diverse Ambassador Animals are featured, and the program is delivered by one of our senior educators for an exceptional experience!
- We select the exact 7 animals that attend, and do all we can to accommodate your preferences and requests!
- Presentation time is approximately 60 minutes.
